French-speaking Project Coordinator

ABOUT US:

Our team does a lot of translation and language localisation projects for our customer, who is the European leader in professional translations and is one of the most dynamic businesses in the industry.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage daily communication with French-speaking clients, including hospitals and medical institutions in France, ensuring timely and professional handling of requests and inquiries.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, interpreters, and internal teams, ensuring smooth coordination and uninterrupted information flow.
  • Coordinate interpreters and candidates, including processing requests, checking availability, confirming assignments, and following up on task execution.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails and phone calls, ensuring clear, accurate, and prompt communication with clients and candidates.
  • Manage and confirm appointments, ensuring their accuracy, correct status, and timely updates.
  • Allocate interpreting and translation requests appropriately, working closely with localization and translation teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide operational and administrative support related to interpreters and candidates, including access management, permissions, documentation, and onboarding-related tasks.
  • Maintain, update, and monitor trackers, spreadsheets, CRM/ATS systems, and internal databases in line with company standards.
  • Support the project platform, assist interpreters and candidates with basic technical or organizational issues, and escalate complex cases when needed.
  • Monitor request statuses proactively and react to potential delays, risks, or issues to ensure service continuity.
  • Contribute to project coordination and internal operational processes, including preparation of reports and performance-related information.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong knowledge of French and English (oral and written)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and workload, able to work in a changing environment
  • Pro-active, detail-oriented, highly organized, able to work to tight deadlines and calm under pressure

WILL BE A PLUS:

  • Working experience in project management, business administration or customer service (preferably in a Language Service Provider company)
