FullStack Engineer (RoR + React)

Project description:

Devabit is a Ukrainian IT company that collaborates with clients worldwide. Currently, we are looking for a Middle to Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our team and work on a project for our client — a revolutionary platform transforming the pharmacy experience through digital innovation.

The project provides a patient-centric experience enabling patients to pay co-payments, schedule deliveries/curbside pickup, and answer medical-related questions online in seconds from any device.

The client provides pharmacies with a white-labeled, online payments platform that integrates with pharmacy management systems and allows for faster onboarding and payments process to enhance workflow and revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain features for the platform, working across the full stack (Ruby on Rails and React/Next.js).
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Multiple years of experience with React.
• Solid understanding of database systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with the following technologies: AWS, Docker, Redis, RSpec, and Git.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
• Experience with Next.js.
