Business Analyst

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Our customer’s platform is designed to conveniently book maintenance or repair appointments for BMW, Honda, and Ford cars. Applying airline industry revenue management techniques, it efficiently organizes price service requests to maximize profit.

The platform enables users to manage the following activities:

• Fill in less popular appointment slots by providing incentives and discounts
• Manage all service locations from one centralized place
• Use smart reporting and analytics to improve pricing margins and schedule a time to check in with customers and offer all available services efficiently

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze business requirements and create detailed technical documentation for the development team.
• Collaborate with project teams (product managers, developers, QA specialists) to define and document requirements for the platform.
• Analyze existing business processes and optimize them in the context of working with car service providers and customer requests.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Test new features and assist in managing the quality control process.
• Prepare and present updates and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Lead efforts in business process analysis and improvements on the platform.
• Monitor competitors, conduct market research, and gather insights into customer needs to continuously improve the product.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT or software development.
• Strong understanding of business analysis processes, requirements gathering, and testing.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with the automotive service industry and car maintenance processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in requirements analysis tools (Jira, Confluence, BPMN, UML).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into understandable formats for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian and English.
